The current Australian Labor Prime Minister is well on the way to being the worst PM Australia has ever had, and that is in his first term.

The potential alternative seems unlikely to be much better.

Admittedly both them have inherited serious structural issues that go back almost two decades to the next closest contender for worst PM ever, John Howard.

But coming home and finding your house is on fire is no excuse for just throwing petrol onto it.
