    Of course. When it comes to expensive tablet, why should one buy an Android over an iPad? The software still sucks (especially userland, even after all these years), and while Android phones are starting to get longer support, this is not true for tablets. iOS is buggy as hell also, but not as much as Android.

    And when it comes to cheap tablets, why should one choose anything else than an Amazon Fire, or some other random Chinese cheap tab? Won't even mention that the bottom of iPads aren't even that expensive as they used to be...

      2027 is still 2-3 years from today... that's enough time for Google to cancel this project at least 6 times (7, if they optimize the cancellation process with Gemini, assuming they won't cancel Gemini by then).

        Hardware takes a long time. Adding phone-tablet-laptop convergence features to future Tensor silicon is a good start. Those features can be used by tablet hardware partners or even future Pixel phones when connected to a dock.
