Hi HN! I’ve just finished building my first developer tool, which simplifies remote configuration (and feature flags) for developers, especially those less familiar with complex platforms like AWS or Firebase. It’s designed to be simple and easy to use.

I’ll be launching it on ProductHunt this Tuesday, but I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with other platforms or communities where developer tools can gain traction. Where would you recommend promoting a tool like this for maximum exposure?

Would love to hear your suggestions or strategies that worked for you!

    I also tried to submit my product to other SaaS directories but I want to try also other mkt strategies

    One idea that I would do: frequent irc and forums[] where fellow developers having similar problems are discussing these issues, and shamelessly plug yourself.

    []: or whatever communication channels. I heard youngsters nowadays like Discord and the like.

      Yes, that’s a great idea! I’m also planning to share it on X (Twitter), which is somewhat similar in reach.

      However, platforms like Discord are definitely worth considering—thanks for the suggestion!

      I used to be a huge fan of IRC back in the day, but I’m not sure how active it is these days :)
