I had the thought that 90% of folks never try to build anything for fear of failure and 90% who do give up too early, so if you think about it:

1. Pessimism is the mother of all scarcity. 2. Optimism is the elixir of life. 3. Pronoia is the Sorceror's stone.

Purpose is doing everything you can to stoke your optimism, which is another way of saying align your unique self/soul with a problem you want to solve (market) and a community you want to share the upside with: users, team, collaborators, etc.
