    I am not sure we need to have a submission for every Wine release, let alone release candidate. Many of these end up on the front page.

    Wine appears to do an annual major bump in January and a biweekly minor release through the year.

        I suspect people are just upvoting Wine based on name recognition, and 10.0 seems like a big release. If you don’t see HN every day you might not realize how many OP is submitting.

        In fact looking at submission history OP is submitting tons of open source software release announcements.
